About us

The Tissue Electronics laboratory at the CABHC-Naples bridges bioelectronics with tissue engineering. The focus is the investigation of the interaction between nanofabricated chip-based solutions and electroactive biomaterials with tissue-like architectures.

The goal of the group is to link several topics and activities such as material production, cells cultures, building of hybrid and organic photovoltaic devices, biomedical applications and electronics.

The principal investigator of the Tissue electronics group is Francesca Santoro.
